COURSE RULES

THESE RULES NOT ONLY PROVIDE SECURITY AND SAFETY THEY'RE ALSO THERE TO ENSURE PEACE AND GOODWILL AMONG MEMBERS AND SPECTATORS. FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES AND WE GUARANTEE THAT YOU WON'T BE NEEDING YOUR LIFE INSURANCE ANYTIME SOON.

The use of horns & sirens are forbidden on the site unless there is an emergency.
Anyone found driving through taped off areas or onto the adjoining fields will be asked to leave the site.
All vehicles to be out of the off-road course by 15.30hrs and off site by 16.00.
Seat belts must be worn at all times.
Observe the course directional arrows.
A maximum speed of 15mph in the course, 5mph in the car park.
Trees on the site must not be damaged.
No litter is to be left on the site. People leaving litter/ scrap car parts will receive an official warning on next visit.
All vehicles are to be cleaned of excess mud before leaving the site.
The holder of a full driving licence must accompany any under age or inexperienced driver.
CHILDREN are not allowed out of the vehicle once inside the off-road course unless instructed by a club official or marshal, Anyone under 16 must be supervised at all times, Children under 12 must wear a fluorescent visi vest when on site (available from the control caravan).
Passengers are not permitted to ride the off-road course unless they are seated in a securely fixed seat. E.g. not on the rear wheel arches of a truck cab.
In the case of an accident or injury contact a club official or marshal immediately. A fire point is located in the central area of the off-road course.

All Vehicles to be used on the off-road course will have the following items checked on arrival Seatbelts, Batteries, Recovery points & Recovery Ropes if you don't have these items or we feel your vehicle is not safe you may be asked to leave the site.

Anyone found making new tracks (without the committee's approval) will be asked to leave the site.
All drivers and spectators enter the off-road course entirely at their own risk.

Non road legal vehicles MUST NOT be used on the public roads at any time.

CB'S on the course to use channel 8 in an EMERGENCY ONLY!! not for general chit chat.

Please stay with your vehicle if you are stuck or have broken down.
Club recomends you carry a fire-extinguisher in your vehicle, but at the moment this will be down to the owner's discretion.
NO MAXI CROSS STYLE TYRES ALLOWED IN THE COURSE
A warning will be issued for a breach of club rules. The club reserves the right to remove any person or vehicle that they consider to be in serious breach of the club rules or constituting a danger to other site users.

EVERYBODY ENTERING THE COURSE WILL BE ASK TO SIGN A DISCLAIMER TO COVER THE CLUB IT READS.

THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH ATTENDING OR PARTICIPATING IN MOTOR SPORTS INCLUDE THE RISK THAT I MAY SUFFER HARM. ALTHOUGH EVERY EFFORT IS MADE TO KEEP THE COURSE SAFE, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ESSEX ROCHFORD & DISTRICT 4X4 CLUB WILL TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED TO ANY PERSONS, VEHICLES OR PROPERTY (SAVE FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM ESSEX ROCHFORD & DISTRICT 4X4 CLUB'S OWN NEGLIGENCE) AS A RESULT OF MY ATTENDANCE AND/OR PARTICIPATION AT THE COURSE WHATSOEVER.
